My name is Izaz Hussein, and I'm the Founder and Director of SWIFT Mortgages Ltd. I started this company in 2013 with a simple purpose: to help everyday Kiwis navigate the home loan journey with confidence and clarity. With over 20 years in banking and finance, I've learned that genuine, people-first advice can make all the difference.

I bought my first home in 2008, and to be honest, I made a lot of mistakes. I didn't know what questions to ask, I didn't fully understand the process, and I didn't have anyone to guide me properly. Those hard-learned lessons became the driving force behind what I do today: helping others avoid those same pitfalls and make smarter, more informed decisions. My mistakes became my greatest learning, and now they're my motivation to educate and empower others.

Originally from Fiji, I moved to New Zealand in 1997 and went to Mangere College and Otahuhu College. I've worked in the banking industry since 2001, and what's kept me grounded is the people, clients, colleagues, and communities I've had the privilege to serve and grow with.

At SWIFT, we focus on more than just lending. We focus on people. I'm deeply passionate about mentoring advisers, supporting families, and giving back where I can. I currently serve as a board member of Franklin Hospice, and I'm proud to be part of something bigger than just business.

Outside of work, I'm a proud dad to two amazing kids, a football fanatic, and someone who loves cars, travel, and meaningful conversations.
