Extension boards blended into existing oak, then a full sand and coat so old and new timber read as one floor.
Where the new wing met the original house, widths and grades had to be reconciled before coating. We supplied compatible European oak, adjusted layout at thresholds, and sanded the entire field to a consistent plane. Two coats of water-based polyurethane gave a modern low-sheen finish from hallway through to the formal lounge.
